Post-Treatment Guidelines for RF Lifting (Thermage / InMode / Potenza)
Cleansing
Light face washing, showering, and makeup are allowed starting 1–2 hours after the procedure.
When cleansing or showering, please avoid rubbing or directly touching the treated area.
For 1 week after the procedure, it is recommended to avoid saunas, bathhouses, steam rooms, and swimming pools whenever possible.
Swelling
Redness, swelling, or bruising may occur after the procedure, but it usually resolves naturally within 1–2 weeks.
Vacuum marks may remain for about 1 week due to the suction process of the device, but they do not cause pigmentation. The marks will gradually fade and disappear.
If itching or rash occurs, it will usually subside over time. If symptoms are severe, please contact the clinic.
Results & Duration
Lifting effects may vary by individual, but results can appear immediately after treatment.
With 3–5 or more sessions, long-lasting effects may be expected, and consistent maintenance is recommended.
Recovery Progress
Depending on the individual, tingling or throbbing sensations may occur but usually disappear naturally within 1 month.
Adequate hydration and moisturizing after treatment help support skin regeneration.
Please avoid washing with excessively cold water or using cold packs after the procedure.
To prevent pigmentation, please apply sunscreen thoroughly.
(Avoid functional skincare products that may cause swelling or irritation for 1 week.)
General Post-Treatment Precautions
Alcohol & Smoking
Please avoid alcohol and smoking for 1 week after the procedure.
Exercise
Please avoid excessive or strenuous exercise for 1 week after the procedure.
Emergency Situations
If you experience any of the following symptoms, please contact the clinic or your coordinator’s direct number and visit the hospital immediately.
Contact the clinic immediately if:
· You develop a high fever of 38°C or higher
· The treated area becomes increasingly red or swollen compared to immediately after the procedure
· You feel severe dizziness or have difficulty breathing
