    Medical History Precautions
  1. If you have any internal medical conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, or thyroid disorders, or neurological/psychiatric conditions such as epilepsy or mental health disorders, please let us know in advance. This is necessary to ensure safe anesthesia management.
  2. If you have any allergies or abnormal reactions to medications, please inform us beforehand of the cause (if known) and the severity of the reaction (itching, hives, difficulty breathing, etc.). This allows us to avoid anesthetic agents containing the triggering ingredients.
  3. Please inform us in advance if you have undergone surgery related to the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, or brain, or if you have previously received chemotherapy.
  4. If you have a history of anemia, it may worsen after surgery. Pre-operative evaluation and treatment may be required.
  5. Please notify us if you have experienced symptoms such as high fever, phlegm, cough, or a cold within 7 days prior to surgery.
  6. If you are taking medications for conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disorders, epilepsy, hormonal therapy, or psychiatric treatment, please inform your assigned coordinator in advance.
Since medication instructions may vary depending on your medical condition, you must consult the clinic to confirm whether you should continue taking them.
Regardless of whether you take them on the day of surgery, please bring all regularly used medications with you to the clinic on the day of surgery.
In addition, aspirin or aspirin-related drugs, hormonal medications, herbal medicine, and nutritional supplements must be discontinued at least 7 days prior to surgery.
  7. If your surgery date overlaps with your menstrual period, please inform us in advance.
This will not affect the surgical outcome, but increased bruising and swelling may occur.
