Post-Treatment Guidelines for Contouring Injection
Cleansing
Light face washing, showering, and makeup are allowed starting 1–2 hours after the procedure.
When cleansing or showering, please avoid rubbing or directly touching the treated area.
For 1 week after the procedure, it is recommended to avoid saunas, bathhouses, steam rooms, swimming pools, and lymphatic massages whenever possible.
Swelling
Although it varies by individual, major swelling usually subsides after about 4–5 hours, and mild residual swelling gradually improves over 2–3 days, resulting in a more natural appearance.
After the procedure, swelling, bruising, bleeding, redness, pain, lumpiness, warmth, itching, pigmentation, or skin indentation may occur.
(Most symptoms disappear within a few days. If symptoms are severe, please consult your physician.)
Results & Duration
Although results vary by individual, improvements gradually begin to appear about 1 week after treatment.
Better results may be expected when the procedure is repeated 3 or more times at 2-week intervals.
Recovery Progress
Temporary flushing or menstrual irregularities may occur after treatment, but these will return to normal.
Adequate hydration and moisturizing after treatment help support skin regeneration.
To prevent pigmentation, please apply sunscreen thoroughly.
(Avoid functional skincare products that may cause swelling or irritation for 1 week.)
General Post-Treatment Precautions
Alcohol & Smoking
Please avoid alcohol and smoking for 1 week after the procedure.
Exercise
Please avoid excessive or strenuous exercise for 1 week after the procedure.
Emergency Situations
If you experience any of the following symptoms, please contact the clinic or your coordinator’s direct number and visit the hospital immediately.
Contact the clinic immediately if:
· You develop a high fever of 38°C or higher
· The treated area becomes increasingly red or swollen compared to immediately after the procedure
· You feel severe dizziness or have difficulty breathing
